WA’s Leader in Neurodiversity-Affirming, Trauma-Informed Behaviour Support

The heart behind our work

At Waves WA, our team combines professional skills with deep lived experience. Many of us are neurodivergent ourselves, and we are also parents and carers who know the reality of the journey. We understand the challenges because we navigate them too, and we celebrate the successes because we know exactly how much they matter.

We don't believe in being "the experts" who sit above you. Instead, we are a group of professionals united by a shared commitment to providing support that is genuinely trauma-informed and neuroaffirming. For us, this means listening first, relating rather than assuming, and ensuring that every strategy we build together is practical, respectful, and personalised to your real life.

We know that for support to work, it has to feel safe. Whether we are working with you in your home, at school, or navigating complex systems like justice or mental health, we bring the same level of empathy and professional integrity. We are here to walk alongside you, ensuring you always have choice, control, and a team that truly gets it.
